This information is then used on forms to pre-select the selected country. uses cookies for Google Analytics, authentication (anonymous & temporary token) and language selection.

When you log into the portal, a cookie is stored with an anonymous authentication token. Every time you navigate to a page or component on the portal, that token is verified against the portal API to ensure that you are logged in and that the API call is not intercepted. This strengthens security on the site and allows the portal to identify you from a specific browser. It enables functionality such as logging a user out automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity on the portal. The language cookie enables functionality to ensure that the portal loads with your selection even if you copy a link from the portal and load it in a different browser tab.
