COOKIES

We use cookie technology on some parts of our website. A cookie is small pieces of text that are saved on your Internet browser when you use our website. The cookie is sent back to our computer each time you visit our website. Cookies make it easier for us to give you a better experience online. How and Why We use Cookies

Cookies are used on both the Liberty Health website and portal for Google Analytics to enable us to view Google Analytics data.

Google Analytics uses a standard cookie and more information surrounding Google’s use of cookies can be found on their development website here:

https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cookie-usage

https://www.libertyhealth.net uses cookies to store the country that you have selected. This information is then used on forms to pre-select the selected country.

https://online.libertyhealth.net uses cookies for Google Analytics, authentication (anonymous & temporary token) and language selection.

When you log into the portal, a cookie is stored with an anonymous authentication token. Every time you navigate to a page or component on the portal, that token is verified against the portal API to ensure that you are logged in and that the API call is not intercepted. This strengthens security on the site and allows the portal to identify you from a specific browser. It enables functionality such as logging a user out automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity on the portal. The language cookie enables functionality to ensure that the portal loads with your selection even if you copy a link from the portal and load it in a different browser tab.
